Hotel owner stabs a customer to death

DHADING, May 11: A customer who came to have lunch has been stabbed to death at a hotel in Nibuwa Bote area in Dhading.



On Wednesday evening, Binod Thapa Magar, 28, of Galchi-8, Katalpauwa, was stabbed to death by Neeraj Pandit, 28, the owner of Shandar Hotel in Nibuwa Bote. Police Inspector Dharmajit Thing said that the accused was arrested at night.


It is said that Thapa had engaged in an argument with the hotel owner while paying the money. Police said that after paying for the lunch, there was a fight between the two parties.

Pandit was absconding after the incident. Thapa Magar died during treatment at Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu.


The police arrested Pandit and six people including his mother Saraswati. "The incident is under investigation", said Police Inspector Thing. After the incident, the locals have closed the Galchhi-Trishuli road section since last night.
