Bhaitika—the most important day of Tihar, which falls on the second lunar day of Kartik was marked on Tuesday.
On that day sister put tika to their brothers longing them longevity, happiness and prosperity while in return, brothers pledge to protect their sisters from all kinds of adversities.
Meanwhile, Nepali celebrities including Rekha Thapa, Hari Bansha Acharya, Bhuwan KC, Anmol KC, Sweta Khadka also observed the day.
