KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balendra Shah has received a fellowship from Kathmandu University (KU) for his PhD studies.
Balen applied for a PhD from the Civil Engineering Department of KU. The university has selected Shah for the KU Researcher's Fellowship.

Mayor Shah expressed his gratitude by posting the letter sent by KU on the social network Facebook saying that he was selected for the fellowship.
According to Kathmandu University, Shah will do PhD under the supervision of Associate Professor of KU Dr Shyam Sundar Khadka.
