Nepal Chamber requests South Korea to invest in Nepal

KATHMANDU, July 14: The Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) has requested for investment from South Korea to Nepal.

KATHMANDU, July 14: The Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) has requested for investment from South Korea to Nepal.



In a meeting between the Chamber's team and the South Korean Ambassador to Nepal, Tae-Young Park, a request was made to South Korea to enhance industrial and commercial cooperation with Nepal.

In the meeting, the Chamber chair, Rajendra Malla, called for additional investment in Nepal's hydropower, infrastructure, tourism and technology sectors. Investment in Nepal's hydropower sector will ensure returns.


During the meeting, Ambassador Park pledged to further strengthen diplomatic and economic relations with Nepal during his tenure. Park said that since all the products produced in Nepal are environmentally friendly he will take initiatives to export such products to Korea.
