DHADING, March 29: Police have arrested a person in possession of a huge cache of contraband narcotics from Gajuri rural municipality-7 in Dhading district on Thursday night.
A team from the Narcotics Control Bureau of Nepal Police and Area Police Office, Gajuri, arrested Sukumaya Tamang, 45, of Gajuri rural municipality-7, said Deputy Superintendent of Police and information officer at the District Police Office, Prakash Bista.

The team seized 110 kg of hashish, 32 kg of powder used to prepare hashish, 390 kg of marijuana mixed powder and 109 kg of marijuana seeds. The contraband was kept at the house of Tamang.
A case related to smuggling of contraband products would be filed against Tamang, said Police.
