KATHMANDU, May 24: The country is presently experiencing a general influence of the Westerly low-pressure system and the local winds.
The weather is generally too cloudy throughout the country today. Likewise, light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and gusty wind has been predicted at some places of the hilly regions of the country and at a few places in the remaining parts of the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
Temperature in Kathmandu Valley to remain high today as well
Heavy rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province, the Division said.
Tonight, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly areas and partly cloudy to mainly fair in the rest of the country. Light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and gusty wind is likely to occur at some places of Koshi Province and at a few places in the remaining parts of the country.
