KATHMANDU, April 12: The country has partial influence of local winds as well as western winds at present. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of a storm in some parts of the country today.
According to the Division, there is also a possibility of windstorms in a few places of Terai in Lumbini Province and Sudurpaschim (Far Western) Province. Similarly, there is a possibility of rain with lightning in three provinces of the country, according to the division.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light and temporary rain with lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces. The weather will be generally clear in the hilly areas of the country tonight.
