Winner of Prime Minister 3 Nations Cup to be awarded USD 5,000

KATHMANDU, March 21: The winner of the Prime Minister Cup organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) from Wednesday will receive 5,000 US dollars.

KATHMANDU, March 21: The winner of the Prime Minister Cup organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) from Wednesday will receive 5,000 US dollars. 



ANFA announced the prize amount at a press conference held at Dashrath Stadium in Tripureshwor on Monday.

The winner will be awarded 5000 US dollars, the runner-up will be awarded 3000 US dollars and the man of the match will be awarded 250 US dollars. The National Sports Council will provide the awards. 


The ticket price is Rs 500 for general parapet and Rs 1000 for VIP parapet. Similarly, the best player of the tournament will receive 500 US dollars, according to ANFA.


MDAC Sports Pvt Ltd has got the broadcasting, digital and marketing rights of the Prime Minister's Cup tri-national football tournament for Rs 2 million. ANFA has said that ticketing will be done by itself. Earlier, ANFA had invited bids for this tournament with a minimum price of Rs  3 million for ticketing and Rs 5 million for marketing.


From March 22nd to 31st , the Prime Minister Cup football match between Bhutan and Laos is being held at the stadium.  


Nepal is ranked 175th in the FIFA rankings, while Bhutan, who will be playing in the Prime Minister's Cup, is ranked 185th and Laos is ranked 187th. Both teams have arrived in Nepal today.
