102 patients recover from COVID-19 today

KATHMANDU, June 7: One hundred and two patients of COVID-19 were discharged from various hospitals across the country after recovery on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, June 7: One hundred and two patients of COVID-19 were discharged from various hospitals across the country after recovery on Sunday.



With this, the number of patients recovering from COVID-19 has jumped to 466 in Nepal.


Dr Bikash Devkota, during a daily media briefing of the Ministry of Health and Science, said that 12 patients of Jhapa from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, and 34 patients of Bara from Kailali Hospital, Bara were discharged.

Similarly, 27 patients of Rupendehi and Kapilvastu from Corona Isolation Center, Butwal and one patient of Mahottari from COVID-19 Unified Hospital, Balambu, were also discharged after recovery.


Ten patients of Banke, Dang, Bardiya and Kapilvastu from Corona Special Hospital, Dang, and 18 patients of Rautahat Nursing Institute, Gaur were also discharged.


So far, 91 patients of COVID-19 in Province 1, 186 in Province 2, 32 in Bagmati Province, three in Gandaki Province, 133 in Province 5, nine in Karnali Province and 13 in Far-western Province have recovered from COVID-19.


Of the 102 who were discharged today, two are female and 100 are male.
