KATHMANDU, July 1: At least 15 people were injured in a bus accident in Dhanusha district.
The bus ( Na 4 Kha 4492) carrying passengers from Sarlahi to Lahan met with an accident on the Portaha road section of Ganeshman Charnath Municipality, Dhanusha, along the East-West Highway.

According to the District Police Office, Dhanusha, the injured have been identified as Jayander Rai, 60, Manoj Kumar Yadav, 32, Sasukhan Yadav, 54, Nigam Raya 7, son of Birendra Raya, and Kebath Baitha, 65. They all are the residents of Kaudena Rural Municipality-6, Sarlahi.
Similarly, Radheshyam Prasad Yadav, 37, Tekan Raya, 60, Dip Narayan Yadav, 65, Bindeshwor Raya, 62, Lal Babu Raya,70, and Bijaya Kumar Shah were also injured in the accident. They all are residents of Bishnupur Rural Municipality-8, Sarlahi.
Likewise, Jagdish Raya, 60, and Kalpishor Raya, 60, were also injured in the accident.
Most of the injured are in normal condition while Jayander Rai's condition is moderate. Police said that the injured are currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.
