KALAIYA, April14: As many as 16 houses were reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at a Dalit settlement at Gadhimai Municipality-5 in Bara Saturday afternoon.

However, the fire caused no human casualty and the details of loss caused by it are awaited, the District Police Office, Bara said.
It was put out with the help of locals and firefighters from Kalaiya, Birgunj and Kolbhi. The cause of the fire is yet to be known. ---
