BIRATNAGAR, Dec 15 : The 17th edition of International Maithali Summit will be organized in Biratnagar from December 22 to 23 this year with an objective to promote the language, literature, culture and food items of Maithali community.
Organizing a press conference here today, the Maithali Association Nepal's President Prabin Narayan Chaudhary shared that more than 300 representatives from Nepal, India and Gulf countries would participate in the Summit.

The poets from various communities including Maithai will recite their poetries during the event and they will be honoured too, informed the organizer. It was also shared that there will be 21 stalls which will display art works, scientific tools and technology and Maithali cultural items, among others.
Even the Visit Nepal 2020 related promotional activities will be held, especially in the religious touristic sites in State -1, added Association's advisor Pankaj Barma.
