Bolivian, Thai women held with cocaine

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: The Narcotics Control Bureau of Nepal Police has arrested two foreign women on the charge of trafficking cocaine from the capital.

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: The Narcotics Control Bureau of Nepal Police has arrested two foreign women on the charge of trafficking cocaine from the capital.



The arrested are Thai national Waranya Kaewpikul, 32, and Bolivian national Rossy Gueddy Toledo Aallejos,29, said DIG Jay Bahadur Chand.

Police arrested Kaewpinkul from Tribhuvan International Airport with the 3.54 kg of cocaine at 9: 30 pm  yesterday while she was about to board the Malaysian (MH 115) plane. According to her statement she was leaving for Thailand via Malaysia.


Similarly, police have arrested Rossy Gueddy Toledo Aallejos from Naxal, Kathmandu at 2:55 am today.


Rossy was taken under control following the preliminary investigation that Kaewpikul had received the cocaine bag from her.


The cocaine was hidden in the false bottom of the bag.
