KATHMANDU, June 19: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), on Monday caught two government officials with Rs 400,000 in bribe.

A team deployed from CIAA, Bardibas Chapter arrested under-secretaries Ram Hari Rijal and Basudev Timalsina of District Education Office, Sarlahi on the charge of taking Rs 400,000 in bribe from various individuals promising them jobs at Janajyoti Higher Secondary School, Lalbandi.
A case has been filed at the Special Court, Kathmandu against them under Corruption Prevention Act, 2059 BS.
