24 police personnel go out of contact

KATHMANDU, Jan 24: 24 employees working in Nepal Police have gone out of contact. Nepal Police Headquarter, noting their prolonged absence, has issued a directive for them to come to contact immediately or face departmental action.

KATHMANDU, Jan 24:  24 employees working in Nepal Police have gone out of contact. Nepal Police Headquarter, noting their prolonged absence, has issued a directive for them to come to contact immediately or face departmental action.



Among the missing personnel are three Sub-Inspectors (SI), two Assistant Head Constables, and a number of police constables. These police personnel have been out of contact since September.

The Police Headquarter has issued a seven-day notice for the absentees to establish communication and provide an explanation for their absence.


The notice also states that failure to respond within this timeframe will initiate proceedings for their dismissal from service. The sudden disappearance of these police employees has raised concerns within the police organization and efforts are underway to ascertain their whereabouts.
