BHAIRAHAWA, June 1: All 25 COVID-19 patients who were receiving treatment at Bhim Hospital in Bhairahawa have returned home after recovery.
A total of 16 patients from Rupandehi, five from Kapilvastu, three from Nawalparasi and one Indian national were discharged at 10 am Monday. Those discharged from the Hospital include three females and 22 other males.

The patients aged between 5 to 50 years were admitted at the COVID-19 Hospital after May 31. With their discharge, the Hospital, which was developed as a dedicated hospital for the treatment of COVID-19 patients last month, has no patients suffering from this fatal virus.
According to the Information Officer at the COVID-19 Hospital, Gopal Upadhyay, they were discharged after they tested negative for the virus in the two consecutive lab tests in the last 24 hours.
Social Development Minister of Province 5 Sudharshan Baral, Provincial Assembly member Santosh Banda, Rupandehi District Coordination Committee Chief Ekraj Bishwakarma, Medical Superintendent of the hospital Nabin Darnal and doctors and nurses involved in their treatment were among those present when the COVID-19 patients were discharged after their recovery.
