UDAYAPUR, July 22: Drug peddlers land in the police net almost every day in Udayapur district. Police have arrested two youths at Gaighat in less than 24 hours.
A police mobile team deployed from the District Police Office, Udayapur arrested 20-year-old Ashish Rai with the contraband at Bagartole of Gaighat at 3:20 pm today.
According to District Police Office, Gaighat the police apprehended Rai in possession of four ampoules of lupigesic and diazepam.
Police have started investigating the case after taking Rai into custody, said SP Nawaraj Bhatta.
