Few might know that Miss Nepal 2015 Evana Manadhar also works as a freelancer to develop the personal as well as professional skills of girl students. Having earned a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the Wilkes University in 2014, Evana has also been honored with the Dean’s Excellence Award in Marketing and the International Student of the Year Award due to her excellent performance in college. Besides that, she is also the Global Brand Ambassador of Menstrual Hygienic Management in Nepal.
In conversation with My City’s Kiran Lama, Evana revealed five things that many may not know about her.
Loves to cook
In her leisure time, Evana loves to cook different cuisines, mainly Nepali and Newari dishes. Fish curry is her favorite food and she loves to cook it. Besides, she is also fond of cooking mo:mo, chatamari and other delicious meals at home. According to her, she learned to cook from her mother.

Whenever there is a family gathering or any other function, Evana cannot keep her feet from moving. She started dancing since Grade I. “I also love to sing although I don’t have a good voice. I usually keep humming a song rather than singing it out loud.”
A traveler
Evana likes to travel to different places that are rich in natural beauty and her recent visit was to Upper Mustang. Being a nature lover, she yearns to travel to Rara Lake and go for a safari in Chitwan. While traveling, she makes sure to capture her moments as memories.
Spiritual soul
She believes in the existence of god and also thinks that everything in this world is created by a divine power. As result, she often visits temples and sometimes observes fast. Nevertheless, she respects all religions equally.
Motivates people
Evana is always ready to mentor people, especially students and women. According to her, she loves to share her knowledge regarding personal and professional development. She says motivating people brings positive energy in her life as it is her comfort zone.
