TAPLEJUNG, Sept 3: A laborer working at Sanima Hydropower project in Taplejung has died after he was buried by a large boulder at around 1.30 pm on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Khaga Prasad Tamang, 44, of Fattanglung Rural Municipality-1 of Taplejung.
According to Kailash Adhikari, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Taplejung, the victim died on the spot when a large rock fell on him while he was sitting in the kitchen of Sanima Hydropower.

The deceased worked in the kitchen at the same hydropower plant. “The body is brought to Taplejung District Hospital for postmortem,” police said.
