KATHMANDU, Sept 14: Abhilasha Bista and Prerana Koirala of Nepal have progressed to the girls' singles semifinals of the ANLTA Asian Junior Tour U-14 Ranking Tennis Tournament under circuit two on Wednesday. Ira Rawat and Saloni Tamang also made it to the semifinals.
In the quarterfinal matches held at the Satdobato tennis complex, Abhilasha and Prerana overcame Isha Shree Shah 6-1, 6-4, and Laxanya Bishwanath 1-6, 6-4, 7-5 respectively. Ira registered a double bagel over Sneha Yadav while Saloni beat Alsha Regmi 7-6, 6-1.
Similarly, in the boys' singles events of the tournament, Aadit Subedi, Arnabh Pathange, Aryan Giri and Samyak Bhushan Bajracharya booked their ticket for last four winning their respective matches.
Likewise, in the boys' doubles, the pair of Arnabh and Ambitious Goldsmith of India as well as the pair of Saharsha and Aadit of Nepal made it to the final.
In the girls' doubles events, the pair of Abhilasha and Ira and the pair of Laxanya and Prerana booked ticket for the final.
