KATHMANDU, May 14: Nepali theater artist Bikram Pariyar has died after he was attacked by an unknown group on Sunday.
Pariyar was attacked while he was coming out after casting his vote in the local elections in Vyas Municipality-1, Tanahun.
‘‘Pariyar died after he was attacked by an unknown group near the polling station immediately after he cast his vote. The other person who was with him has been severely injured,’’ Sub-Inspector Manoj Pandey told Republica Online.
Pariyar was associated with Studio Actors’ Nepal. He was actively involved in musical activities until recently.
He cast his votes from Jaldevi Secondary School polling center in Tanahun.
