KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Actress Aliza Gautam, wife of journalist Rishi Dhamala, has joined the Nagarik Unmukti Party. Party Chairperson Ranjita Shrestha welcomed Gautam to the party at a program held in Bhairahawa on Saturday.

Chairperson Ranjita Shrestha said that Gautam’s responsibility has not yet been finalized. Many have commented that Gautam joining the party was planned for a long time. Along with Gautam, Rajendrabir Rai of Bardiya, who became a candidate for the National Assembly member by-election from Lumbini, also joined Nagarik Unmukti Party.
