KATHMANDU, Feb 22: Nepal has won the triangular series under the ICC World Cup Cricket League 2. In the last match of the series on Tuesday, Nepal defeated Scotland by two wickets.



Sandeep Lamichhane played an important role in winning the four games. Lamichhane, who returned to the field after a long time, took 13 important wickets in four matches. After the win, he thanked his fans on social media.

Writing a status on social media today, he expressed his gratitude to the audience. Even amid the controversy, the craze for Lamichhane on the field was the same. Lamichhane, who got support and encouragement from the audience, said, "I don't know how much I have contributed, but my country has won. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart for this love.”


Lamichhane, who was incarcerated on the charge of raping a minor girl, was released by the Patan High Court on 10 conditions and a bail of two million rupees.
