Agreement signed to study the feasibility of fertilizer factory

KATHMANDU, June 24: An agreement has been signed between the Bagmati Provincial Government and Kathmandu University to study the feasibility of urea fertilizer production. An agreement was signed between the provincial Ministry of Livestock and Poultry Development and the University on Thursday.

Minister for Livestock Development Basundhara Humagain and Vice Chancellor of the University Prof Dr Bhola Thapa have signed the agreement to conduct a feasibility study and detailed project report on urea fertilizer production, the ministry said. Minister Humagain shared that the process of setting up a urea fertilizer factory will be taken forward on the basis of the feasibility study that will be completed within six months.
