Minister Bhushal vows to bring agricultural policies as per changing context

KATHMANDU, Nov 25: Newly-appointed Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ghana Shyam Bhushal has committed to formulate agricultural policies in accordance with changing context and launch the programs accordingly.

KATHMANDU, Nov 25: Newly-appointed Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ghana Shyam Bhushal has committed to formulate agricultural policies in accordance with changing context and launch the programs accordingly. 



Addressing the meeting of the parliamentary committee on Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources, Minister Bhushal clarified that the government is willing to cooperate with the private sector to develop the agriculture sector so that it would be capable enough to address the need of time.

“We are preparing to amend all the laws to make our policies and program based on federal structure,“ said Bhushal adding ‚“The government will soon amend the laws in view of the development of science and technology and the need of the country."


Speaking further he said that the government is expecting the collaborative support from the private sector to modernize the sector.
