Air Dynasty chopper crash: Bodies to be sent to TUTH for postmortem

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: The five dead bodies recovered from the Air Dynasty chopper crash site at Shivapuri Rural Municipality-7, Nuwakot, are to be sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Maharajgunj for postmortem.

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: The five dead bodies recovered from the Air Dynasty chopper crash site at Shivapuri Rural Municipality-7, Nuwakot, are to be sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Maharajgunj for postmortem.

The Air Dynasty helicopter, 9N-AJD, was en route to Rasuwa from Kathmandu when it crashed on Wednesday afternoon. The helicopter took off from Kathmandu at 1:54 PM but lost contact just three minutes after takeoff.


According to DSP Tilak Bharati of the District Police Office, Nuwakot, the bodies of two males, one female and the pilot were recovered from the crash site. The fifth body has not been identified yet as it is charred beyond recognition.
