KATHMANDU, Nov 18: Tata Group owned Air India is going to merge four airline brands operated through its investment into one company. With this, Vistara Air, which is currently flying in Nepal and operated by a joint venture between India and Singapore, will also be merged into Air India.
According to the Indian media, if the Tata Group succeeds in this plan, Air India will be one of the most powerful airlines in the world. It is also mentioned in the news that Tata Group has already made an offer with Singapore Airlines while preparing to merge Vistara into Air India.

Earlier, Tata Group bought the shares of the state-owned Air India. Prior to the acquisition of Air India, Vistara and AirAsia were operated by Tata Group. After buying Air India, Air India Express was also merged with Tata. Thus, now Tata has four airline companies. Air India is preparing for aggressive market expansion.
As mentioned in the news, the company is preparing to order 300 ships in the near future. Currently, Air India, Vistara and Indigo Air are flying regularly from India to Nepal.
