KATHMANDU, Nov 17 : An American was killed when a motorcycle rammed on to a pick-up van at Jyatha in Kathmandu on Thursday. The victim is identified as Robert Grober. The accident occurred when the motorbike (Ba 58 Pa 3718) Grober was travelling on hit the door of a stationary pick-up van (Ba 14 Cha 4996) at 5 pm on Thursday. The van was parked on the roadside for downloading goods.
Grober, who sustained serious injuries in the hit, was rushed to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. He breathed his last this morning. The Metropolitan Police Circle, Durbar Marga has impounded the drivers and both vehicles, police stated. RSS
