CHITWAN, Feb 19: Narendra Adhikari, ward chair of Khairhani Municipality-4, who was severely injured in a road accident occurred last night died in course of treatment at Chitwan Medical College at 10: 15 am today, police said. The accident happened at Shantichowk of Ratnangar Municipality- 3.
Seven injured including driver in jeep accident in Phungling
Bishwa Bijay Basnet, chair of ward no 5 of the same municipality was killed in the same accident occurred at 8:30 pm when a pickup van (Na 3 Cha 9840) coming to Ratnangar from Khairhani and a vehicle ( Ba 2 Jha 1344) belonging to the Khairhani Municipality coming from the opposite collided, Chitwan's Superintendent of Police Deepak Thapa said. Municipality vehicle's driver Raj Kumar Adhikari of Khairhani-12 is being treated at the Chitwan Medical College while the pickup van driver has been absconding since the accident. RSS
