APF sends three Disaster Response System containers to earthquake-affected areas

KATHMANDU, Nov 5: The Armed Police Force (APF) has sent their team with three Disaster Response System container tents and tarpaulin for the earthquake victims.

KATHMANDU, Nov 5: The Armed Police Force (APF) has sent their team with three Disaster Response System container tents and tarpaulin for the earthquake victims.



A team led by APF Assistant Sub-Inspector Ram Biswas Yadav left for West Rukum with 10,000 tarpaulins and 700 tents in three containers at around 4:00 this morning.

The APF battalion number 20 has sent 700 tents to various disaster-stricken areas and Guheshwori battalion number 22 in Bhaktapur has sent 10,000 tarpaulins along with 3 containers, said Senior Superintendent Rajendra Khadka.


Earlier, Senior Superintendent Khadka stated that two disaster response system containers had been sent from Dang to West Rukum and from Surkhet to Jajarkot with essential materials for the earthquake victims.


Even today, the APF continues rescue operations in the earthquake-affected areas.
