KATHMANDU, Sept 23: Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) Nepal Chapter, in partnership with Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF), has announced applications for Global Student Entrepreneurship Award (GSEA) Nepal.
"GSEA is a premier awards program for student entrepreneurs," EO said in a statement. The Nepal finals of GSEA is being organized in Kathmandu on December 15, the statement said, adding that the application is November 15.
"The students need to be responsible for the operation of a for-profit (revenue generating) business that has been operating for no less than six consecutive months. Selected students will have the opportunity to present their business and entrepreneurial journey in front of a panel of entrepreneur judges," the statement added further.
The winner will bag a purse of Rs 50,000 and get opportunity to attend GSEA finals in Germany to compete with world’s top student entrepreneurs. The global finals winner will win over $40,000 in cash and donated business services, according to the statement.
