KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Aprilia SR 150 has hit the Nepali market. Issuing a statement, D-Lifestyles (P) Ltd -- the authorized distributor of Piaggio -- said that Aprilia SR 150 crossover has created a new category in the two-wheeler segment.
A step forward, but not enough
“Imposing never seen styling in scooters with a perfect blending of motorbikes and scooter, the sporty Aprilia SR 150 is a hit among youngsters,” the statement said, adding that Aprilia SR 150 is designed for young riders who are looking for the sensation of sport bikes and the convenience of automatic scooters in their daily city commute.
“The crossover is powered by 154.8 cc engine with top speed of more than 100 kmph. It weighs just 122 kg,” the company said in the statement. The bike is available at an introductory price of Rs 239,000, according to the company.
