KATHMANDU, March 7: The Nepal Police has said that the rumor concerning the arrest of Gitendra Babu Rai (GB Rai), who is absconding in the cooperative fraud case, has been arrested is not true.
After the news of Rai's arrest from Singapore became public, the police said that Rai has not been arrested yet.

According to Nepal Police IGP Basant Kunwar, Rai has not been arrested yet. He said, “We are searching for him through INTERPOL. He has not been arrested yet.”
Rumors have been circulating about his arrest in Singapore on social media since this morning.
