Assistant  polling  officer  beaten up

BAJURA,  Nov  23:  The assistant polling officer Bindeshwar Prasad Yadav was beaten black and blue on his way to Nandeshwari  Secondary School  polling center of  Kotila in Budhi Nanda Municipality-5 on Wednesday.

Yadav was attacked by an unidentified gang at Porakhe Lekh on his way to polling center that is one day away on foot from the district  headquarters Martadi, informed police. The victim has multiple injuries to his body including legs, backbone, and lower back and is undergoing treatment at the Martadi-based District Hospital.


Attackers are yet to be identified and the reason behind the attack is also unknown. Police have launched a manhunt to nab those involved in the incident, said DSP Hari Oli.
