The ATF will now cost Rs 94.5 per liter for domestic airlines. The revision in the ATF price will, however, come into effect from Thursday (12 midnight). The state oil monopoly has lowered the ATF price in line with the fall in the price of the fuel in the international market. The domestic airfare is expected to go down following the reduction of the ATF by nearly 10 percent.

The NOC has been lowering the price of petroleum products in line with the fall of prices in the international market. Earlier on January 2, the NOC reduced the price of petrol by Rs 2 per liter to Rs 108, and diesel by Rs 2 per liter to Rs 95.
