KATHMANDU, August 20: Three matches have been scheduled under the ongoing Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Central Zone Senior Male Volleyball Tournament.
The event has been organised for the first time in Nepal. Bangladesh and Afghanistan, both in the Group 'B', are meeting for the first match for today at the Lakhankhel-based Tribhuvan Army Club.

In the matches held yesterday, both teams faced a defeat. Bangladesh was defeated to Uzbekistan in a 3-0 straight set while Turkmenistan beat Afghanistan to win the match by 3-1. All the matches will start after 3:00 pm.
Similarly, the second match for today has been scheduled between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and Kirgizstan and the Maldives are to meet for the third or last match for the day. Nepal was defeated to Kirgizstan in the match held Monday by a 3-0 straight set.
