Speaking at the interaction, Binod Paudel, a non-smoker, shared his experience of having a hard time smoking in the film for his role. “I met with a number of people that have fallen victims to drug abuse and talked to them for my role.”

Binod (Achyut Sitaula) stars opposite debutant actress Namrata Sapkota (Aastha) in the film. Other actors including Jiwan Saathi Basnet, Nirnaya Shrestha, Sarita Giri and Pragya Joshi, among others, also feature in the film.

“It took me three months to get into the role. I learnt how drug abuse changes a person. I initially wanted to do Sandip Chhetri’s role in the film, but ended up doing the lead role upon the director’s request,” said Binod.

Director and co-producer Sagar Udgam said, “We aim to spread awareness against drug abuse through the film and encourage youths to give up such bad habits.”

The film is jointly directed by Purshottam Pradhan, Dhiraj Jung Shah, Shivaram Shrestha and Nawaraj Subedi.
