KATHMANDU, Oct 2: Western Regional APF Headquarters, Baidhyanath claimed the title of Armed Police Force (APF) IGP Third Running Trophy-2073 on Sunday at the APF Headquarters, Halchowk, Kathmandu.
Baidhyanath claimed six gold medals, one silver and a bronze in the internal sports meet of APF.
The Eastern Regional Headquarters, Baraha secured second position with five golds, four silvers and five bronzes.
Similarly, Mid-western Regional Headquarters, Maheshwari finished third with three golds, two silvers and a bronze.
APF IGP Durja Kumar Rai distributed trophies, medals and certificates to the winning team and players.
The event saw participation of six teams of APF and featured a total of 285 players including 48 female players.
Meanwhile, AIP Singha Bahadur Shrestha, the president of APF Central Sports Committee, presented sports report during the same function.
