Bajra demonstrated

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Demonstration of Bajra, a new martial arts game, founded in Nepal was conducted in the capital on Wednesday. Various aspects of the game including its playing style was demonstrated during the program.

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Demonstration of Bajra, a new martial arts game, founded in Nepal was conducted in the capital on Wednesday. Various aspects of the game including its playing style was demonstrated during the program. 



Bajra is founded by Jagat Prasad Gauchan who is also founder of kyokushin karate in Nepal. According to Gauchan, Bajra is a mix of the strongest parts of the kyokushin, thai boxing, kick boxing and taekwondo. 



“Every martial art coach wishes to create a game in his own style so I also created this game,” said Gauchan. 



He informed that players can use face punch in Bajra which will be played under weight categories in points system. Gauchan also informed that Bajra Karate Association has been established in India and will be expanded to Singapore, Bangladesh, Japan, Pakistan, UK, Hong Kong and USA in future. Gauchan said that he aims to organize Asian Championship in the next two years and World Championship within four years.
