ROLPA, Nov 28: Residents of Rolpa who have taken to the streets demanding that the district should not be split away from Province-5 shut down the district on Monday.
The protest will last until 12 pm. Vehicles on long and short routes did not ply while the bazaar, hotels, industries and educational institutions have remained shut.
The Indivisible Province-5 Concerned Committee warned of a stern protest if its demand is not heard.
Earlier in the morning, students and women took out protest rallies and disrupted transportation for one hour as part of their protest programs. They also submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal through Chief District Officer. RSS
