Five accused of crimes in Nepal and India made public

BARA, Feb 7: District Police Office (DPO) of Bara, on Tuesday, has made public five arrestees who have been accused of committing crimes in Nepal and India. Among the arrestees made public include Samsul Hoda of Parshurampur-4 of the district, who was arrested from Dubai.

BARA, Feb 7: District Police Office (DPO) of Bara, on Tuesday, has made public five arrestees who have been accused of committing crimes in Nepal and India. Among the arrestees made public include Samsul Hoda of Parshurampur-4 of the district, who was arrested from Dubai.


Hoda has been accused of directing various activities of terror in Nepal and India from Dubai of United Arab Emirates through his aides.

Organizing a press conference, the DPO has made four others public besides Hoda. They have been identified as Brij Kishor Giri aka Giri Baba of Mahagadhimai Municipality-1, Mojahir Ansari of Kalaiya Municipality-10, Umesh Kumar Kurmi and Asish Singh of Bhawanipur.


According to DSP Narendra Prashad Upreti of the DPO, the arrested have been shown to be involved in the murder of Bihar resident Deepak Ram and Arun Kumar Ram of in a forest of Kalaya on December 25.


“Our investigation has shown that Hoda is the mastermind behind the murder of both the Indian nationals. Hoda had mobilized others arrested to commit the murder,” informed DSP Upreti, adding, “After we found the bodies of the Indians in a jungle, we suspected the case to be sensitive and prioritized the investigation.”


According to him, Hoda had also mobilized his aide Giri to bombard Raxual-Ghodasahan Railway. “But the explosives had not caused big causalities although the instruction was to cause big damages,” he added.


“First, Ansari was arrested, which made us easier to arrest the others who were working under instructions from Hoda,” said DSP Upreti. After Hoda's connection was established in the murders of Indian nationals, he was arrested from Dubai with the help of Interpol, and deported to Bara, informed the DPO.


Hoda had stayed in Malaysia from for 12 years for employment, from 2001 to 2013. Then following the second Constitution Assembly election, he stayed in UAE for one-and-a-half years, according to police.


While staying in Dubai, Hoda has managed to establish connections with criminals of five countries along with UAE - Pakistan, Malaysia, India and Nepal, informed the DPO in the press conference.


The DPO has remanded the accused into custody for further investigation.
