Buddhi Tamang is famously known for his idiolect ‘Hait’ amidst the audience. Buddhi, and his ‘Hait’ garnered fame from the television serial ‘Meri Bassai’.
However, he is recently more into the films, than tele-serial. Buddhi known for his comic timing and roles as supporting actor now will be seen in new avatar, as an antagonist for the upcoming movie ‘Bir Bikram 2’.
Shahiel’s ‘Kanchi’ launched
Buddhi said he had an odd feeling when director Milan Chams approached him for the role. “I played roles as a supporting actor so far. And I felt unusual when I received an offer to play a negative character for ‘Bir Bikram 2’,” he added.
He revealed, “I accepted the role as I have always yearned to play a different role. And in the movie, the character I am playing is intriguing and irritating at the same time. So, it is a challenge for me to fit into a negative character. But I am sure it will teach me few new things about acting.”
The movie features actors Paul Shah, Barsha Siwakoti and Najir Hussain as lead characters, along with Desh Bhakta Khanal, Binisha Bhandari, Binod Subedi and Manisha Limbu.
The movie is produced under the banner Chams Entertainment. It is scheduled to hit the theaters on May 17.
