KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Dr Gunakar Bhatta has been appointed the spokesperson for the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).

He is also the executive director of the Bank Supervision Department at the NRB. Bhatta holds a PhD degree in economics and replaces Dev Kumar Dhakal. He served as the NRB Spokesperson in the past, too.
