The party has urged the government to provide compensation to the family members of the deceased and bear treatment expenses of those injured in the bomb explosion.

In its statement, the party has urged everyone to put forth their demands peacefully. "We urge the government to address the demands of the opposing forces through peaceful dialogue," the statement said.

"This type of untoward incidents creates disorder in the internal security situation while discouraging the foreign investment. Hence, the stakeholders including the government should be sensitive toward such incidents in the days to come," it added.
