KATHMANDU, Dec 8: A young man has been found murdered in Balkot of Bhaktapur district. The body of Rajan Shrestha, 33, of Balkot in Suryabinayak Municipality-3 was found in a field on the bank of the Hanumante River near Bangalamukhi Cooperative Chowk in Basitole of Suryabinayak-2.
The deceased has sustained serious head injuries. Chief of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi, Deputy Superintendent of Police Narhari Regmi said that the victim was hit by a rod-like object.

The body was found around 10PM on Tuesday. The private vehicle of the deceased was found at Madhyapur Thimi-3 Gatthaghar.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Madhyapur Hospital. A police source said that some people have been taken under control for interrogation on suspicion of being involved in the murder. Police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
