Health budget will be increased: State Health Minister Karki

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: Minister of State for Health, Dr Toshima Karki has said that the health sector budget will be increased.



In a press conference held at the ministry on Friday, she said that preparations are being made to increase the budget allocated for the health sector.

She said, "We have planned a health strategy. We have prepared to increase the budget allocated for the health sector. If a government cannot invest enough in education and health, then it is understood that the government is not responsible.”


She said Dr Govinda KC has also said that the issue raised from the streets will now be raised from the House.
