CHITWAN, Sept 26: One person died and another was injured when a bus knocked down a motorcycle at Bharatpur Sub-Metropolitan City in Chitwan today noon.
According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the accident occurred when the bus (Na 3 Kha 9439) en route to Narayangadh from Bharatpur hit the motorcycle (Na 4 1 Pa 6397).

The deceased has been identified as Bharat Mahara, 33, of Bharatpur Sub-Metropolis -4.
Also, pillion rider Bhimlal Tamang, 32, of the same place, has been hurt in the incident. The injured has been receiving treatment at the Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur.
The accident occurred as the bus went out of control due to brake failure, police said. RSS
