CAN Info-Tech attracting huge crowds

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: The Subisu CAN Info-Tech drew 36,118 footfalls on the second day.



Issuing a statement, Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Federation, said that 34,154 had visited the Info-Tech on the first day. The expo, which started on Friday, is being organized by CAN Federation.

According to the organizers, the stalls of Internet service providers and dealers of smartphones, laptops, computers, inverter, batteries, software, printers, projector, scanner, attendance machine and CCTV, among others, were the crowd-pullers on the second day.


The six-day long event has stalls of companies dealing on hardware sales and maintenance, power solutions and mobile accessories as well as Internet service providers, telecommunication firms, ICT college and training institutes, software solution providers and payment solution providers, among others.


The expo concludes on Tuesday. 


Entry fee has been fixed at Rs 100 for general visitors and Rs 50 for students. The organizers are expecting around 400,000 visitors.
