Cash support for Fapla Stadium

DHANGADI, Aug 16: Okinawa-Nepal Friendship Association, formed by a group of Nepalis living in Japan, on Tuesday provided cash support of Rs 50,000 for the Fapla International Cricket Stadium which is under construction in Dhangadi.

DHANGADI, Aug 16: Okinawa-Nepal Friendship Association, formed by a group of Nepalis living in Japan, on Tuesday provided cash support of Rs 50,000 for the Fapla International Cricket Stadium which is under construction in Dhangadi.



The association's Chairman Sanjeev Shrestha handed over the cash to Dream Fapla's Chairman Subash Shahi in Dhangadhi. “We are happy to help for the development of Nepali cricket,” said Shrestha. “Nepal has even competed in the World Cup (T20) and we see a bright future. So, infrastructural development is necessary to take this game to bigger height.”



Similarly, Dream Fapla's Shahi said that helping hands  like Okinawa-Nepal Friendship Association inspires to accomplish the stadium construction soon.
