KATHMANDU, Feb 12: Centenary person Satya Mohan Joshi and his spouse Radha Devi Joshi have announced a posthumous body donation for medical research.



Addressing a program organized in the premise of Lalitpur Metropolitan City on Friday, the Joshi couple said they decided to donate their body for clinical study and research of their body.

The couple signed in the consent form to donate their body to Kist Medical College based in Gwarko, Lalitpur. Addressing the function, Joshi said he voluntarily decided to donate his body after death to help medical students to research the longevity of his life.


Speaking on the occasion, Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Chiribabu Maharajan said Joshi had set another milestone by announcing to donate his body for the scientific study.
